Tara Shioya is a content strategist and writer with 12 years experience developing compelling print and Web communications for corporate and non-profit clients. Her work has been recognized by the Rebrand 100 Global Awards, ID Magazine, and Communication Arts, among other organizations.Tara has created the brand voice, content strategy, and copy for numerous noteworthy clients, including Adobe, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Eli Lilly and Company, and HP.
Prior to starting Epigram in 2006, Tara was the director of editorial strategy at MetaDesign in San Francisco and a director of user experience and content strategy at Studio Archetype/Sapient, in San Francisco, London, Tokyo, and Munich.
A native of Vancouver, Canada, Tara holds a Master’s of Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
